Lifecycle of a Deposit Week with Property Tribes
Last week, Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) featured in six articles spanning the majority of the week. Each day a new article was uploaded to show the full lifecycle of a deposit.

These articles are designed to help tenants, landlords and agents understand their responsibilities to tenancy deposit protection and explain how TDS can help you get it right when using our TDS Insured Scheme or our free Custodial Scheme.

Debbie Davies, Assistant Director of Business Development at TDS, outlines what steps landlords and agents could take at the beginning of a tenancy to reduce costly disputes arising when the tenancy ends.
Day 3: 3 Steps to Protect a Deposit Correctly
In the third instalment of Property Tribes’ series of articles on deposit protection, TDS’ Director of Customer Services, John King provides a step-by-step guide to getting it right.
Day 4: How Changes to a Tenancy Affect the Deposit
Alison MacDougall, Director of Dispute Operations at TDS, explains what steps landlords and agents can take during a tenancy to help minimise disputes at the tenancy end.
Day 5: Managing the Deposit at End of the Tenancy
Michael Hill, Adjudicator at TDS, outlines the requirements of landlords and agents at the end of a tenancy.
